How to Perform Vastu Shanti Pooja

· Astro Speaks

You may have heard of a friend or relative saying that they are planning to do a Vastu Shanti Pooja. What exactly is this Pooja? Let us find out.

Vastu parameters are based on different energy fields emanating from different directions. These different fields can affect various aspects of our life like wealth, health, relationships, career, and progeny. Vastu tries to use natural forces in a way that we can derive maximum energy for every aspect of our life. If we are not aligned with Nature, some energies may be blocked, and we will lag behind in some areas of life.

The basic rules of Vastu Shastra hinge on directions and natural elements like air, fire, water, earth, and space. In Vastu, specific rules apply for each direction. The eight primary directions represent 8 things in life, and the presence of the right energy in these eight corners is beneficial.

Another important concept is that of the five elements or the Panchabhootas. The entire world is made of these 5 elements - air, fire, water, earth, and space. The proper use and placement of these elements confer benefits to the residents of the house.

Vastu Shastra makes a person's life better by attracting and concentrating positive cosmic energy in our lives. This enables us to succeed in life. With Vastu Shastra’s help, we can harness the powers of the cosmic forces, lunar energy, solar energy, etc., for our benefit. Of course, it is not easy to implement all the rules of Vastu Shastra when constructing a building, but we can try to follow them wherever possible.

If a house is not built as per Vastu Shastra rules, it can create Vastu dosha, which causes various problems at home. On such occasions, Vastu Shanti Pooja is performed to rectify the Vastu dosha. This Pooja is also believed to improve the family members’ health, boost their lifespan, and create harmony in the family. It can also be good for expanding business and gaining profits.

This Pooja is a religious and spiritual ritual to worship Vastu Purush, who is the soul, protector, and Lord of the house. (Purush means Soul, Power, and Energy). The main objectives of Vaastu Shanti Pooja are given below.
